In this weird 21st century world we live in, relationships have taken a decidedly odd turn. We've already heard stories about people shacking up with sex robots, couples inviting an extra person to the party (making a "throuple"), and gamers snubbing real human partners in favor of video game avatars.
By comparison, then, 36-year-old Jennifer Mulford's decision to quit her job in order to breastfeed her boyfriend seems almost normal.
Jennifer, a bartender from Atlanta, took time out of her employment for Brad Leeson, who is also 36, so that the pair could have a stronger "bond" through breastfeeding.
The couple are far from alone in their desire to engage in breastfeeding as part of a romantic relationship, though. An adult breastfeeding relationship (ABR) is just one of many fetishes that have become more easily accessible through the internet, with websites such as Craigslist (or even dating apps like Tinder or Grindr) acting as a facility for like-minded individuals to find one another.
“When I read about the bond breastfeeding could create between two people, I was envious," said Jennifer. “I have always enjoyed my breasts being touched during sex more than anything else, so I knew I would enjoy it.”
The only problem was, Jennifer wasn't in a relationship at the time, so she had nobody to share the experience with.
“When I read about the pure joy it brought others, I was desperate to seek out a partner to share an emotional bond with," she explained.
“I used dating sites, put messages on ABR forums and even put an advert on Craigslist, but I drew a blank. I started to think I’d never get to try adult breastfeeding.”
Fortunately for her, she found Brad. The pair had actually been in a relationship years ago when they were at school together, but had since developed a platonic relationship. However, when Jennifer brought up the subject of ABR, Brad sounded keen to try it out.
“We were talking and Brad told me he had a thing for big-breasted women, and that size had always been a factor in his relationships," she said. “I thought it was the perfect time to
bring up adult breastfeeding — and see if he’d be interested."
And, sure enough, he had the response that Jennifer had been looking for.
“It was like a light switch flicked in his head. I could tell from his voice that he was curious and excited.”
She continued: “At that moment I knew that I had a partner for life.
“We both wanted the same thing out of the relationship — a magical bond that only breastfeeding can achieve.”
