There's an old saying that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", and that perhaps never been more true than it is for people who identify as "object sexual".
Objectum sexuality - an orientation which means that people find themselves sexually or romantically drawn to inanimate objects - is not a particularly common phenomenon, but it's not an unheard of one, either. Just recently, we heard about the woman who was in an open relationship with over a dozen chandeliers, the young men who areditching real girlfriends for anime characters, and the man who loves his sex robot as much as he does his wife.
And now someone else has made headlines for her unconventional relationship. She's a 20-year-old math student from Floria, and she plans on marrying the classic '80s video game, Tetris.

Fractal Tetris Huracan, as she likes to be known, began a relationship with the game back in September 2016.
"I think Tetris is so beautiful, he is about perfection and he stimulates your mind," she said.
"Physically I get that feeling that people in relationships get – that you know they are the right one. I love him so much and get an immense sense of satisfaction with him. I have a strong connection with him and have invested so much in him."
As well as spending up to twelve hours a day playing Tetris online, on her phone, or on a console, Huracan has filled her home with objects that are shaped like the blocks from the game. She has cushions, lamps, jewelry, clothing, and magnets all in various shapes, plus a rare Tetris hard drive that she sleeps with.
Though they're still just in the dating phase right now, Huracan has stated that she wants to marry the game when she leaves college in two years.
"I want to say I'm married to Tetris and have a legitimate ceremony, I want everybody to be there," said the student. "I feel like that would be an official thing which would set it in stone and say 'I love you and want to prove it to you' by making it permanent and calling myself Mrs. Tetris."
But this is not the first time she has felt a serious connection with a non-human object. At the age of 10, Huracan developed a serious crush on a Sat Nav in her family's car.
"I had no idea why but I would get really shy around GPS or whenever anybody mentioned them, I was obsessed," she explained. "I would always try and make an excuse to use the GPS in the car, and I would try to hold it close. I would do anything to try and touch it and hear its voice. It made me feel really happy."
Then, when she was 16, the math student fell for a calculator that she named Pierre De Fermat after the famous mathematician.
"Around the time I fell in love with Pierre I had a strong attraction to math and a fetish for geometry. I called myself Fractal, I was obsessed," she recalled. "I was so in love with Pierre, I can't describe how much I was in love, it was indescribably strong. I took him to my prom and I just felt an explosion inside me like a wildfire was raging in my heart."

Tragically, Pierre met with some unfortunate circumstances, and the young student was left heartbroken.
"I was cleaning him one time and he short-circuited. I had the most indescribable break down when he wouldn't work," Huracan said. "I lost him and had to get a new Pierre, I did not believe Pierre's consciousness extended across. This one did not feel the same as the original Pierre."
Now that she has found romance with Tetris, though, she feels positive again.
And, when it comes to explaining her affections to other people, Huracan has no problem being open on the subject. "I am not doing anyone or anything any harm. What is the issue?" she said. "[People] think it's weird but I ask them to give me one good reason why I shouldn't date Tetris and they can't."
Well, if Huracan is happy (and, of course, if Tetris is happy), then we can only wish the couple all the best with their upcoming nuptials.
