President's 'defeat speech' greeted with bomb blast and killing of soldiers.

At 7am on the 1st of January 2018, Nigerian President made a new year speech during which purported that the Nigerian Army has defeated the nations nightmare terrorist organization.

The statement which has been controversial and attacked by numerous Nigerians has not been properly digested before the terrorist group killed at least five (5) soldiers and about thirty (30) other missing.

In another news a bomb blast exploded in Madagali, Adamawa state. This Claimed the life of three and injured others.

One comes to wonder;  on what angle or biases did the president announce that Boko Haram has been defeated?
