It's hard to pin-point the exact moment when the world fell head-over-heels for the veritable powerhouse that is Beyoncé, but it's safe to say that we now live in a world which she effectively runs.
Yes, Queen Bey not only continues to dominate the charts (and headlines), but her commitment to social justice and the feminist movement has transcended her from a pop-star to icon. And even if you disagree with this point and all the acclaim that she continues to receive album after album, the Bey-hive, that is her militantly loyal fan-base, won't let you say anything to the contrary.
Yes, you can't argue with the fact that Beyoncé is one of the most recognisable celebrity faces of 2017, but it certainly makes us wonder about how difficult it must be for her to lead anything that resembles an ordinary life. One woman, however, does have an inkling about what it's like to be Queen Bey: Brittany Williams gets approached on a daily basis because of her disarming resemblance to the singer.
A woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to one of the world's biggest pop-stars has recently opened up about how often she is mistaken for Beyoncé.
Brittany Williams who hails from Detroit, Michigan has asserted that she is "constantly" snapped when out-and-about, and even claims that her car was once chased by a group of women who were desperate for a snap with the Beyoncé lookalike.
However, despite the crazy similarity, Brittany maintains that it's all a big "coincidence" and that she doesn't actively try to look like Bey. The production planner stated that she first started to notice the resemblance when Beyoncé shot to fame as one part of Destiny's Child.
"I get approached all the time; whether it be on planes, at the airport or while attending events. I've also been chased, had pictures taken of me without my consent and pranks done without me knowing," Brittany said.
"A group of women once chased me and my friend to our car and began singing "Single Ladies", beating my friend's car with the heels of their shoes until we rolled down the window and took a picture with them."
She does accept that the the amount of similarities are a little odd. Not only does Brittany physically resemble the 36-year-old, but their backgrounds are pretty comparable too:

"We both have southern roots. My parents and her parents look like they could be related [...] She sings, dances, writes and I am gifted in the same ways; we're both strong dominant women, fearless, and God fearing."
But before you start to voice any concerns, don't worry, Brittany is not complaining about it, being a big fan of Beyoncé herself. She asserted that Beyoncé is "the example of what men should seek, and girls should become". "We're simply blessed to have a woman with such grace, humility, loyalty, talent and worth ethic to exist in our time."
However, while both Beyoncé and Brittany both won the genetic lottery, Brittany claims to be much less maintenance than the pop-star. As we all know, Beyoncé has her glam squad at hand, as well as numerous stylists, but Brittany is decidedly more relaxed when it comes to her appearance, describing herself as a "minimalist".
She said:
"I'm very basic with makeup; which I tend to wear mostly on weekends, mainly to enhance features of my high cheekbones (I'm part Native American) and to pronounce my nose. I also use setting powder to control my oily skin from time to time. Nothing is daily. I tend not to wear makeup as I don't care for the regime for going to work. Usually my hair is either parted in the middle, on the side, in a top not, or under a cap. However, I sometimes wear a weave for which the cost is equivalent to the price one would pay to maintain their hair bi-weekly.""I'm very basic with makeup; which I tend to wear mostly on weekends, mainly to enhance features of my high cheekbones (I'm part Native American) and to pronounce my nose. And clearly knowing what is truly important, Brittany added;
"I'm just a cool, stylish, smart, witty girl with a vision, confidence, and ambition. I'm still dreaming that God will allow my visions to come to fruition. He has blessed me so much."
Now, there's something that everyone should have in common with the pair.
