Twelve (12) Money Myths That Are Not True

We all grew up with money myths. We get a lot of them from our friends and the way they put it all up.I can still hear my friends saying, A penny saved is a penny found', and to this day I still have no idea what it means.Maybe I'm lucky.My money myths are based on a lot of nonsense like that.But most of us have the following ingrained beliefs:

1. MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL:Money is never the root of all evil.There are still good people out there who have a lot of money.I think that the love of money is the root of all evil,not money.
2. MONEY IS DIRTY: I don't think money is dirty.If money is dirty,people would not have the zeal to make money.I think that some people do dirty things to make money.So money is not dirty.Get it off your heart.
3. I DON'T DESERVE TO BE RICH: I use to hear this from a lot of people,more especially when they fail in making money always.Money is not discriminatory. Anybody can make money.Anyone can be rich. Just set your plans,work towards it.You will see money coming your way.If your plan fails,try out other plans.Keep trying,until money comes your way.
4. MONEY IS ONLY MADE BY GREEDY AND DISHONEST: Do you believe that?  To me, I don't. There are still wealthy men and women out there who are not greedy.There are still lots of honesty wealthy women out there.So therefore believing that money is only made by greedy and dishonest people is pointless.
5. MONEY CORRUPTS:Money does not corrupt,unless you are that kind of person who is being influenced by money negatively .This just have a lot to do with your character and attitude towards money.So just work on your attitude/character if you are a victim.
6. I'M NOT THE TYPE TO BE RICH: Hmm,you are not the type?  And you believe in it? Hey don't start.Money is not discriminatory,remember.So step up,start making money now.Set your plans.
7. I WASN'T MEANT TO BE RICH-IF I WAS I WOULD HAVE BEEN BY NOW: This one is very funny.Who said so? How did you get to know? Don't fool yourself.May be you failed after you must have tried so many money making ideas. hmm. You failing does not mean that you can't make money,It does not mean that no other idea left.You need to try more ideas.Set your plans,work hard.You will become rich.
8. IT IS SOMEHOW BETTER TO BE POOR:Is that what you think,maybe because Rich people die mysteriously. Then you want to be poor,so to live long.You got it wrong.If you become poor or you are poor already,then it means that you are going to live a miserable life or you are living a miserable life already.By doing so,you will still die quick.So Be rich but don't flaunt your wealth,it will attract bad people.
9. THE MORE YOU HAVE,THE MORE YOU WILL WANT: You will only want more,if you don't have enough or if you are extravagant.This money myth is not true.
10. HAPPINESS AND MONEY MAKE POOR BAD FELLOWS: This means that the more money you have,the more unhappy you will become.That's not true.There are many rich people our there who are always happy.So get that money myth off your heart.
11. YOU LOSE YOUR FRIENDS IF YOU GET RICH: I totally disagree with this one.Money does not kill.
12. YOU CAN'T HAVE MONEY AND BE 'SPIRITUALLY PURE': Money does not corrupt.So this money myth seems not to be true.
