It was another dramatic day at Nigeria’s Presidential Villa in Abuja as more revelations emerged that at least three ministers in President t Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet are also sick.
This disclosure was made during the prayer session during the Federal Executive Council meeting in the Villa Wednesday.
As soon as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who presided over the FEC meeting arrived, he asked Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed to give the Islamic prayers which he did without ruffling feathers.
But the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,(SGF) Babachir Lawal who was beckoned to give the Christian prayers made dramatic revelations.

Even more Lawal went further to reveal through prayers the names of ministers who are sick.They include Hajiya Aisha Alhassan, the minister of women affairs whom the SGF said “is recuperating in US after a surgery.”
Even more, prayed for the Minister of Education ,Mallam Adamu Adamu, whom he said was “down with back pain.”
But there was more drama before Lawal concluded his prayers as the minister reminded him about the Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Jibril who equally received prayers during the FEC meeting.
The FEC meeting proceeded after the prayer session. But no one is sure whether there could be political backlash over this unforced disclosures in the days ahead.
Presidential Spokesman last weekend confirmed that Buhari would take 10 day vacation to London during which he will see medical experts over a nagging ear infection. The official announcement earlier did not categorically refer to Buhari’s trip as a medical vacation as SGF did Wednesday, though it is an open secret known to all
